SmartCart is a tech-forward grocery shopping assistant designed to optimize the in-store experience. The app helps users save time, reduce dependency on store staff, and become more self-reliant while navigating aisles with ease.
Featuring a smart locator system inspired by Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, SmartCart provides real-time aisle navigation, live inventory tracking, and smartwatch compatibility. It functions like a mini GPS for grocery stores, guiding users directly to the items on their list.
The project involved comprehensive user research, journey mapping, and iterative prototyping, leading to a solution that transforms the grocery run into an efficient, intuitive task. SmartCart bridges the gap between physical retail and digital convenience, offering a seamless hybrid shopping experience.
